MEXICAN DEATH METAL BAND IN THE SWEDISH WAY!
CATHARTIC was formed in July 2019 in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. During the winter (2019/2020), the band entered the studio to record the songs that appear on their first EP titled "Ceremonial Resurrection".
"Through the Abysmal Gates of Subconscious" is CATHARTIC's debut full-length album, and its musical style can be defined as a return to the roots of death metal, with a hint of melody and doom. A clever combination of fast and catchy riffs and just the right amount of slow and intense heavy parts make up its sound.

Old school Death Metal in its purest form. Thanks to Transcending Obscurity for this little gem. Found it on Bandcamp Friday. The clean singing part in „Rot of Ages“ is epic - i did not expecting this. Highly recommended for everyone who loves old school Death Metal!
