DEATH METAL ASSAULT STRAIGHT FROM SANTIAGO, CHILE!
Santiago, Chile-based IGNOMINIA began its DEATH METAL assault in 2000, an aggressive old-school strike in the vein of early VITAL REMAINS, SINISTER, DEICIDE, and DEATH, with some elements of Thrash and Black Metal.
After spitting out a few demos and EPs, IGNOMINIA's debut full-length album has finally been recorded, mixed, and mastered at DM6 Recording Studio. The long-awaited album is titled "PROCESIÓN DE LA MUERTE" and is considered "the perfect soundtrack to an apocalyptic and ultimate death".

An outstanding Extreme doom death album, in the best tradition. The funerary atmosphere reminds of Evoken ('Centuries of ooze" bears striking similarities, for my delight). It is overall sharp, dark, hypnotic and unrelenting. One of those rare convincing new bands that hold proud the legacy of the biggest names.

What a filthy fuck-fest of claustrophobic crunch and slop in a sonic swamp. Ever so often something more discernable and clear pokes out of the mire and makes you linger, but the effluvium rolls back in for more suffocating ecstasy. What is it with 20 Buck Spin? This label just doesn't quit with these absolutely top tier bands and albums.
